Senior Thesis Exhibition 2013

Meet the artists at the 2013 Senior Thesis Exhibition during the opening reception on Friday, April 26 from 6-8 p.m. in the Center for Arts & Performance. The WLC students exhibiting their work are:

The 2013 WLC Invitational Exhibition included 14 studio artists who currently are practicing or are connected to the art programs at WLC and Bethany Lutheran College. Works included acrylic paintings, ceramic sculptures, collage drawings, drawing/mixed media, mixed media paintings, mixed media sculptures, oil paintings, photography, printmaking, and sculptures. The artists:

This fall's Senior Art Exhibition featured the work of three students who graduated in December: Robert Janusz, an art major; Kathryn Strauch, a media design major; and Patti Velguth, an art major.
What I Did This Summer was juried by Aaron Boyd, a local children's book illustrator. Boyd has a B.F.A. from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design and has received numerous honors for his artwork, including Children's Africana Book Award, Choices Award, Books About Sports 2003, Best Books About Real Life, Children's Book Award Notable, Acuity's Story Book Year Pop Up Book, Clio Top 4 in the World, and was inducted into the Smithsonian Rare Books Collection.
