FACULTY AND LEADERSHIP: WLC seeks to recruit members of the faculty and leadership who are active members of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) or the Evangelical Lutheran Synod (ELS) and who share our commitment to quality Christian higher education and faithfulness to the Scriptures. After identifying qualified candidates subject to the approval of the WELS Southeast Wisconsin District Presidium, WLC issues a divine call to the selected individual.
STAFF MEMBERS: For most open staff positions, WELS or ELS membership is desirable but not required. Successful applicants will be able to perform job duties in a manner consistent with WLC’s Code of Christian Conduct and WLC's mission, ministry, and affiliation with the WELS.

School of Business Faculty Members
Wisconsin Lutheran College seeks candidates for full-time faculty positions beginning immediately. Teaching responsibilities may include introductory through advanced business courses, with an emphasis on finance and management information systems. Typical teaching load for the professor track is 24 credits per year, while appointments in the lecturer track are 30 credits per year.
At a minimum, these positions require a master's degree in economics, finance, management information, or a related field, but a doctoral degree (PhD) is preferred. Candidates should be passionate in their vocation and have an interest in teaching and conducting research within the context of Christian higher education. They should have excellent communication skills and demonstrate the potential for outstanding teaching and mentorship of undergraduate students in the research lab or field. A commitment to active scholarship, which includes student participation, is expected for faculty in the professor track. Service on academic committees and within the church or community is also essential. Candidates must be an active member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS), the Evangelical Lutheran Synod (ELS), or another confessional Lutheran denomination in fellowship with the WELS.

Potential candidates should:

Wisconsin Lutheran College seeks two Adult Health II Clinical Instructors for the Spring 2023 semester.
Location: Acute care hospital in the metro Milwaukee area
Available sections: Fridays
Qualifications:
Master of Science in Nursing (individuals with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and are enrolled in a Master of Science in Nursing degree program will also be considered)
Minimum of two years of acute care adult health experience
Unencumbered Wisconsin nursing license
Must pass background check and drug screen
Per clinical site requirements, must be current with all immunizations, including influenza and COVID-19
Responsibilities include:
Overseeing a group of 8 students in acute care setting. 15 weeks of clinical, 7 hours each week of clinical. Includes one hour of prep time, selection of patient assignments, etc. Students are doing direct patient care 0630-1200. Post-conference 1200-1300
Weekly grading of written clinical work with assistance from faculty as needed. Eight students/week and 1.5 hours per student. Clinical assignments are already created.
Midterm and final clinical evaluation tool completion and meeting with students, 90 minutes per student for each evaluation.
