Wisconsin Lutheran College is seeking an Assistant Director for the Center for Christian Leadership who will provide strategic, operational, and program leadership to advance the Center’s mission of developing Christ-centered leaders who positively influence churches, schools, nonprofits, businesses, and communities. This role supports the Executive Director in cultivating partnerships, designing and delivering leadership development programs, expanding organizational impact, and ensuring operational excellence across the Center’s initiatives. Working collaboratively with the Executive Director, campus partners, students, and external stakeholders, the Assistant Director will support the daily operations and strategic priorities of the Center for Christian Leadership while fostering student growth and engagement.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in leadership, education, business, ministry, communication, nonprofit management, or a related field; demonstrated experience in program coordination, leadership development, coaching, education, student services, nonprofit work, or related areas; ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, staff, donors, and community stakeholders; and demonstrated ability to facilitate workshops, presentations, and group discussions. Working collaboratively under the direction of the Medical Director and Dean of Student Services, the nurse will support the daily operations of Health Services within the Office of Health & Counseling Services and serve as a consultant to faculty and staff on student health and wellness concerns.
Qualifications include:
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Wisconsin with national board certification.
Demonstrated knowledge of health and wellness challenges affecting post-secondary students.
Documented evidence of appropriate clinical skills and the ability to provide quality healthcare.
Familiarity with health insurance processes to assist students with claims and coverage questions.
Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Electronic Health Records systems. Familiarity with Medicat EHR is preferred.

The School of Nursing and Allied Health at Wisconsin Lutheran College seeks nominations for candidates for a part-time (.5 FTE) faculty position. This faculty member will serve as a student-centered educator dedicated to fostering learning, retention, and successful program completion. Responsibilities include didactic instruction, clinical teaching, laboratory oversight in our on-campus nursing lab, and clinical supervision of students in healthcare settings throughout the Milwaukee area. The annual teaching load is 12 credits for the professor track or 15 credits for the lecturer track.
Beyond teaching, you will play an integral role in the department by advising undergraduate nursing students, assisting with accreditation and assessment, and supporting recruitment efforts. Professor-track faculty are expected to engage in scholarly activity, such as research, publications, or professional presentations.
Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to WLC’s mission and the integration of a Christian worldview in higher education. This role requires flexibility for clinical site schedules and the physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds in a clinical environment. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, primarily during daytime hours, with occasional evening and weekend availability for special events. Compliance with all healthcare partner safety protocols is required.
Qualifications
Education: master’s degree in nursing is required; a doctorate is preferred.
Licensure: an active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wisconsin.
Experience: at least two years of clinical experience as an RN within the past five years; previous teaching or student supervision experience is highly preferred.
Skills: strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with proficiency in learning management systems (e.g., Canvas).
