The Early College Credit Program (ECCP) at Wisconsin Lutheran College offers public high school students, who meet certain requirements, the opportunity to take college level courses.
The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) provides the funds for the Early College Credit Program (ECCP). Based on individual high school requirements, courses may count toward high school graduation and/or college credit.
Students must be approved by their school district and by Wisconsin Lutheran College to enroll in courses.
Application Process
To apply for the Early College Credit Program, students must complete the following checklist:
- Complete the WLC Early College Credit Program Application
- Complete the Early College Credit Program Participation Form and submit it to your high school counselor
- Submit your high school transcripts to WLC
- Submit your ACT/SAT score (if taken) to WLC
Program Guidelines
Early College Credit Program students may take up to 9 credits per semester. Students can take up to a total of 18 credits while participating in the ECCP.
Students who have been admitted to take courses will be able to register for classes after July 15 for the fall semester and after January 1 for the spring semester.
