ENROLLMENT INFORMATION

International applications are reviewed on a rolling admission basis. Students must submit all required information to WLC by June 1 for August enrollment and November 1 for January enrollment. It is to the candidate's advantage to apply early.

    • Test-Optional Admission: You can choose whether or not to submit ACT or SAT scores as part of your application. We evaluate your overall academic record, including your grades in standard academic courses, honors programs, Advanced Placement courses, and grade trends. We may also ask for and review letters of recommendation, co-curricular activities, community involvement, writing ability, and other achievements you share with us. We want to get to know the whole you, not just your test scores.
  5. For non-native English speakers - provide proof of English proficiency with official test scores:
    • TOEFL: minimum score of 79 OR
    • IELTS: minimum score of 6.5
    • PTE Academic: minimum score of 53

  7. Complete and submit the Certificate of Financial Responsibility that shows the student's ability to meet the educational and living expenses while a student at WLC.
  8. Submit a $35 international student application fee (payable to Wisconsin Lutheran College). The fee may be paid by international money order, cashier's check or through a wire transfer. All forms must be denominated in U.S. dollars.
  9. Once admission to WLC is granted through an official acceptance letter, students should submit an Enrollment Confirmation and Housing Deposit form along with a $300 USD deposit. Doing so will secure an individual place in campus housing and permission to pre-register for classes.
