Senior Grace Hennen is the 2026 Impact Award recipient
MILWAUKEE - Wisconsin Lutheran College students were honored at the 2026 Impact Award Luncheon, an annual student leadership recognition event, on Tuesday, April 28 in the Recreation Complex's Siebert Center.

Wisconsin Lutheran College senior Grace Hennen, of Slinger, Wisconsin, has been named the 34th recipient of the college’s Impact Award. A marketing and management major with a minor in music, Grace has spent her four years at WLC dedicated to academic excellence, service, and Christian leadership.
Grace’s commitment to the arts was a hallmark of her time on campus. In addition to her studies, she was a member of the Wisconsin Lutheran College Choir, Chamber Choir, Contemporary & Gospel Ensemble (CAGE), and Jazz Band, and frequently served as an accompanist for recitals and worship services both on and off campus. Her leadership extended across the college community as a member of the Christian Leadership Certificate Program and a four-year member of the Campus Ministry Team. She also served on the WLC Student Senate and as a captain for Warrior Orientation and Welcome (WOW) Weekend. She recently represented the college at the WELS National Conference on Lutheran Leadership. Throughout her journey at WLC, Grace’s faith and encouragement has been a vibrant reflection of the love of Christ.
The luncheon also honored fellow Impact Award finalists Benjamin Felgenhauer, Carlos Ferreira-Lopez, and Trevor Hoffman, all of whom have made a tremendous impact on the WLC community during their years on campus.
The event featured a keynote speech from local entrepreneur Kevin Marti, President/CEO of Intelligent Video Solutions, who is passionate about building up Christian leaders.
Also recognized at the event were members of the Warrior Events Board and Student Senate, and senior Conduct Board members and Resident Assistants.
We are deeply grateful for all students who demonstrate exceptional leadership on our campus and in the community!
