MAJOR: BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION AND SPANISH

CURRENT ROLE: FINANCIAL PLANNING AND ANALYSIS AT KOMATSU MINING

Why did you choose WLC?

I chose WLC because I was impressed by the college's small class sizes and beautiful campus. I also had the opportunity to play on the men's basketball team, which was a goal of mine in high school.

Tell us about your favorite WLC experience.

I think I have too many to pick an absolute favorite, but one my fondest memories is from a mission trip to Mexico that I took the summer before my senior year. It was an amazing experience to volunteer and learn more about a different culture.

Who is your favorite WLC professor or staff member?

I loved my experience with the entire business school faculty. All of my business professors did such a good job preparing me for the real world. Each of them took the time to get to know me. Their passion to teach and help students really showed. I do have to give a special shout out to Prof. Peter Eppen for helping me get my first job after graduation.

What have you accomplished since graduation?

I got married to Bre (née Meyer, WLC Class of 2014) and now have two children. I earned the CFA and CMA designations, ran a marathon, and started my MBA.

What is next on your bucket list to complete?

In the next 18 months, I plan to finish up my MBA.

"To me, WLC is a very special place. I had the time of my life during college, and I support WLC as a way to say 'thanks' for four wonderful years. WLC provides a great education, and I hope future students have an experience like I did."
