MILWAUKEE - The Meros Center, in partnership with Wisconsin Lutheran College and Kingdom Workers, is pleased to announce the launch of Meros Africa, a continent-wide network connecting researchers, practitioners, pastors, and community leaders dedicated to faith-based health research, professional development, and cross-cultural collaboration.
Meros Africa brings together scholars and organizations across the continent to accelerate the discovery and application of new knowledge that helps communities flourish physically, mentally, and spiritually. Through collaborative learning and shared expertise, the network aims to strengthen the capacity of Christian health ministries to serve Africa’s diverse populations.
“Our vision is for Meros Africa to serve as a virtual center of excellence and become a leading resource for Christian health ministries across the continent,” said Dr. Jennifer Hatzfeld, Regional Network Director for the Meros Center. “By fostering connections and sharing insights across organizations, we believe the network will unlock new possibilities for faith-informed health impact.”
This initiative reflects the Meros Center’s broader mission to connect Christian health ministries around the world with the research, training, and relationships they need to serve communities more effectively. By bringing organizations and leaders together, the Meros Center helps ministries learn from one another, strengthen their programs, and demonstrate how faith-centered care contributes to physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Meros Africa provides a collaborative platform for researchers, practitioners, and faith leaders to share resources, conduct research, and develop professional skills that advance health and wellness across African communities. The network is launching with active research projects in 6 countries and over 50 founding partner organizations and scholars.
