Why I Love WLC
I love being surrounded by people who encourage me, point me back to Christ, and know how to have fun while doing it. At WLC, I never felt like just a number — my friends and professors truly showed up for me. I loved my experience so much that I came back after living in Miami, Florida.
My Favorite Spot on Campus
Either the Chapel or the Quad. I love Jesus, and I love being outside.
My Favorite Thing to Do in Milwaukee
I love walking by the lake, finding fun activities in the community like yoga, salsa dancing, or soccer, and getting involved in my church.
My Favorite Custard Stand and Flavor of Custard
Bubba’s Frozen Custard — Cookie Monster Sundae.
My Favorite WLC Highlight
Some of my favorite WLC memories are the incredible friendships I made, playing soccer, and studying abroad in Costa Rica.
What I Like Most About Working in the Office of Admissions
So far, I love the people. My coworkers and our student workers are wonderful, and I really enjoy getting to share WLC with the students and families who visit campus. The college decision was a difficult process for me, and I love that I get to use what I learned to help others.
My Advice to Prospective Students
The college decision can feel overwhelming, especially if you’re the first in your family to go through the process. Trust that you don’t have to have everything figured out right away — God will guide you each step of the way. And if you choose WLC, you’ll be surrounded by people who will encourage and support you.
