Pharmacy (3+3 Dual-Degree)

Whether you want to provide healthcare services to people in your community or contribute to research, start training for your pharmacy career at Wisconsin Lutheran College. Our groundbreaking 3+3 Dual-Degree Program in partnership with the Medical College of Wisconsin can get you into your lab coat faster.

We offer you the opportunity to earn your pharmacy degree one-to-two years sooner than other institutions. You’ll spend your first three years completing pre-pharmacy requirements at WLC. Then, through our partnership with the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW), located directly across from our campus, you’ll take three more years of courses to earn your Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree.

Completing your Doctor of Pharmacy degree in six years - rather than the traditional eight years - means two more years of earnings and two fewer years of tuition and educational expenses!

A One-of-a-Kind Learning Experience

Dedicated to your success from day one

As an incoming freshman at WLC, you’ll work closely with your admissions counselor and faculty advisors to make sure the academic path to your PharmD degree is efficient and rewarding. During your time at WLC, you’ll also be partnered with a faculty mentor from MCW so your transition is as seamless as possible.

Learning beyond the classroom

As a student in the 3+3 Dual-Degree program, you’ll have access to an array of learning opportunities in and outside of the classroom, such as career discussion groups and shadowing opportunities with MCW Pharmacy School’s clinical partners. There’s also potential for undergrad students to take advantage of research opportunities at MCW’s cutting-edge facility.
