Assistant Professor of Nursing

  • Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing - Wisconsin Lutheran College
Master of Science in Nursing Education - University of Phoenix

While in my undergrad nursing program, I realized I had a strong interest in children and wanted to work in pediatrics. I had the wonderful opportunity to complete my senior preceptorship at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, and after graduation, I started working on the acute care general surgery floor. I am still working on this floor and love taking care of this population. In 2016, I started my teaching career by adjuncting for WLC’s nursing program by teaching clinical. I completed my MSN in 2018 and accepted a part-time call to WLC. I enjoy being able work as a nurse and teach what I do to my students. When not teaching or at the hospital, I enjoy exercising and being outside.
