Keynote Address

Culture, Leadership, and Life Lessons

How do you navigate growth and take risks while creating a dynamic culture that reflects your core values? The Prestwick Companies is a family of brands that not only serves its customers, but also its employees and surrounding community. Mark Hammer, COO of The Prestwick Companies, will share insights into these key aspects for any organization and how they grew from a humble beginning in a garage to three companies with more than 200 employees. Today, the company remains motivated by a common set of values while working for a greater sense of purpose.

Keynote SPEAKER

Mark Hammer, COO, The Prestwick Companies

Mark Hammer headshotMark Hammer is a 25-year veteran of The Prestwick Companies and is proud to be one of the original employees. Mark has served in many positions since the start-up in 1998 and has been involved in developing strategies and teams that have helped grow Prestwick from a small garage shop into an industry leader that is now recognized by the National Golf Foundation as one of the Top 100 Influential Companies in the golf industry.

Over Mark’s tenure, he has played a vital role in helping the company set standards, processes, strategies, and most importantly its culture. He has enjoyed the responsibilities of opening new markets, launching new brands, building successful teams, and assisting in the acquisition of two companies.

Throughout his career, Mark has had the pleasure of working alongside his colleagues and leading teams to ensure that Prestwick achieves new heights year after year. With a focus on servant leadership and rooted in strong values, Mark continues to develop as an executive leader and understands that leadership is truly a journey and not a destination.

While not at work, Mark enjoys serving on the advisory board for Zachariah’s Acres, which is a ministry that connects children with special needs, and their families, to the miracles of nature so they may know their Creator. Mark is also a five-year member of the National Ski Patrol at Ausblick in Sussex, Wisconsin, and was awarded Patroller of The Year in 2022.
