December Commencement

GENERAL INFORMATION

• December commencement will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will last approximately one hour.
• Doors to the Time of Grace Center will open at 6:00 p.m.
• Tickets are required for admission. Graduating students received a link via email to reserve tickets for their guests.
• Seating is general admission and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Handicapped-accessible seating is available.
• Graduating students will meet in the Siebert Center at 6:45 p.m. to line up for the academic procession.
• A light dessert reception will be held in the Time of Grace Center after the ceremony.
• Family members who are unable to attend may watch the event online.
• Free parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis in WLC's Parking Center at 8701 W. Wisconsin Avenue. Area streets also will be available for parking. Please follow posted parking restrictions on the streets near the college, and be respectful of our neighbors so they can access their driveways.

INFORMATION FOR GRADUATES

• EMAILS: Students who applied to graduate in December will receive commencement updates and information about ordering tickets via their WLC email address in mid-October, mid-November, and during Finals Week.
• CAPS AND GOWNS: Graduating students will receive instructions for picking up their caps and gowns in early December. Caps and gowns were ordered using information that students provided on their application for graduation.
• REHEARSAL: A mandatory rehearsal for all students taking part in the commencement ceremony will be on December 15 at 4:00 p.m. in the Time of Grace Center. Rehearsal will last approximately 30 minutes.
• HONOR CORDS: Cords for military service will be distributed to those who have notified the Registrar's Office of their service. Cords for Latin academic honors will be presented to graduates at commencement.
• PHOTOGRAPHY: A professional photographer will take individual photos when graduates receive their diplomas. Photos will be available to order from the photographer's website the week after the ceremony.
• DIPLOMA FRAME: To order a diploma frame, please visit the Warriors Fan Shop on campus.
