Mathematics Placement Exam

The math placement exam is provided for students who plan to take a math course numbered 210 or higher during their time at Wisconsin Lutheran College. The exam must be taken prior to enrollment in a WLC math course.

Take the Math Placement Exam

The WLC math placement exam is used together with your educational background information and ACT/SAT scores to determine the highest-numbered course you may take as your first math course at WLC. The actual exam you take - there are several exams - is determined by how much math you have already completed. Your exam will have a time limit of 20, 40, 60, or 75 minutes. Details on what to expect are available on the introductory screen when you click the button above.

To take the math placement exam, all you need is a computer with internet access and your seven-digit Warrior ID number to log in. The exam is available year-round, 24 hours a day. When you have completed the math placement exam, there is no need to inform us. For new students who take the exam during the summer, your math placement will be available when you arrive on campus for orientation.

If you encounter computer problems while taking the math placement exam, please contact the WLC IT Help Desk at 414.443.8911.
