MILWAUKEE – TheatreworksUSA presents The Plant that Ate Dirty Socks at Wisconsin Lutheran College on Tuesday, December 9 at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. in the Schwan Concert Hall.

In a shared bedroom, brothers Michael and Normal battle it out over keeping the room neat or messy. When the brothers get a new plant, all of the dirty socks mysteriously disappear. Based on the best-selling book series by Nancy McArthur, Theatreworks USA brings the fun-filled musical to life while teaching the valuable lesson of individuality and working together.

Since 1961, TheatreworksUSA has worked to become America's largest and most prolific professional not-for-profit theatre for young and family audiences.

The Schwan Concert Hall is located in the college’s Center for Arts and Performance at 8815 W. Wisconsin Ave. Tickets are $7 general and $6 students. To purchase tickets, call the WLC box office at (414) 443-8802 or visit wlc.edu/arts.
