Susan Egan performs Broadway hits at Wisconsin Lutheran College

MILWAUKEE - Broadway and film star Susan Egan will perform at Wisconsin Lutheran College Friday, March 10 at 8 p.m. in the Schwan Concert Hall. Best known for originating the starring role of "Belle" in Disney's Broadway adaptation of Beauty and the Beast, Egan will perform her own renditions of Broadway hits including: "Don't Rain on My Parade" from Funny Girl; "Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miserables; "Someone to Watch Over Me" from Crazy for You; "Cabaret" from Cabaret and a medley of songs from Beauty and the Beast.

In addition to her role as "Belle," Egan starred in the title role of Thoroughly Modern Millie, portrayed "Sally Bowles" in Cabaret and originated the starring roles in Triumph of Love and State Fair. Her recent film credits include 13 Going On 30 and Spiderman 2. In animation, Egan gave voice to "Meg" in Disney's Hercules.

The Susan Egan performance is sponsored in part by the Wisconsin Arts Board. The Schwan Concert Hall is located in the college's Center for Arts and Performance at 8815 W.
