Mid-year commencement held December 12

MILWAUKEE – On December 12, Wisconsin Lutheran College held its mid-year commencement exercises in the Recreation Complex. Forty-six undergraduate students from the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Professional Studies, and Adult and Graduate Studies participated in the service, and two Master of Arts in Education degrees were awarded.
Dr. Kerry S. Kuehn, associate professor of physics, gave the commencement address. Dr. Kuehn's academic interests primarily are in the physics of fluids and, more broadly, in the history and philosophy of science. He has given numerous presentations before the American Physical Society, and has published papers in the Review of Scientific Instruments, the Physical Review, Icarus, and the Journal of Low Temperature Physics. He also serves on the Advisory Council of the Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium.
The college will hold commencement exercises for the Class of 2014 on Saturday, May 17, 2014, in the Recreation Complex.
