Students to present research findings at Undergraduate Research Symposium

MILWAUKEE – Wisconsin Lutheran College will host its 11th annual Undergraduate Research Symposium on Saturday, April 30, 2011. The event is scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., beginning in the Science Hall and concluding in the Center for Arts and Performance Black Box Theatre.
Undergraduate students will present papers, research projects, or artistic projects completed under the direction of a faculty member, professional researcher, or graduate student as an extension of their WLC academic experience. All presentation applications are reviewed by a faculty committee for content and quality.
The 2011 keynote speaker is Dr. Lorna Wiedmann, associate professor of English. She will address the topic "Perspectives on the Humanities." The public is welcome to attend the student presentations and the keynote address.
