Braun to speak on Dead Sea Scrolls

MILWAUKEE – Dr. Mark Braun, author and professor of theology at Wisconsin Lutheran College, will talk on "Dead Sea Scrolls and the Bible" on Monday, March 29, at 7 p.m. in the college's Schwan Concert Hall, 8815 W. Wisconsin Ave.

Braun, who has a Ph.D. in historical theology, teaches courses in the Old Testament, New Testament, history of Israel, biblical Hebrew, and other topics at Wisconsin Lutheran. He is the author of A Tale of Two Synods and other books, and is a well-respected, popular speaker on biblical topics throughout the Midwest. Braun served in the parish ministry in both Michigan and Wisconsin for 11 years prior to accepting a call to teach theology at Wisconsin Lutheran College in 1987.
