WLC presents the classical and Celtic folk fiddle playing of Jane Hunt

MILWAUKEE – British-born violinist Jane Hunt presents her eclectic high energy Violin Venus Show Friday, April 16 at 8 p.m. in the Schwan Concert Hall on the campus of Wisconsin Lutheran College.

Jane Hunt studied at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, England, and in 2005 graduated with a first-class honors degree. The classically trained violinist has appeared with symphony orchestras throughout England and America, and has performed as a soloist at prestigious venues around the world. Her Violin Venus Show is centered around music from many different genres focusing mainly on classical, Celtic and jazz. Other musicians she involves in the project are each acclaimed artists in their specific field of music, and have come together to combine their talents creating an eclectic show that is accessible to every audience.

Jane Hunt is sponsored in part by the Wisconsin Arts Board and Waterstone Bank. The Schwan Concert Hall is located in the college's Center for Arts and Performance at 8815 W.
