WLC hosts Brazilian group Quarteto Vivace Brasil

MILWAUKEE – Wisconsin Lutheran College presents Quarteto Vivace Brasil as a part of the Guest Artist Series on Friday, January 15 at 8 p.m. in the Schwan Concert Hall.

One of the most exciting new groups on the Brazilian music scene, four master players from South America; perform on two guitars, percussion and flute, bringing sizzling energy to Brazilian sambas and jazz. The group is adept at a variety of genres including Argentinean tangos, American ragtime and arrangements of favorite classics such as Bizet's Carmen and Saint-Saens' Carnival of the Animals.

Quarteto Vivace Brasil is sponsored in part by the Wisconsin Arts Board and Waterstone Bank. The Schwan Concert Hall is located in the college's Center for Arts and Performance at 8815 W.
