To attract and retain quality students, which has become our hallmark, Wisconsin Lutheran, like any private college, must offer financial aid packages. Ideally this would be supported by endowed scholarships, but until the endowment is sufficient, funds are allocated from the general budget. This has the potential to affect academic instructional resources as well as tuition levels. Therefore, scholarship support is needed to assist Wisconsin Lutheran students.
Annual scholarship giving increased from $4.7 million in 2004-05 to $6.7 million in 2008-09 thanks to the generosity of donors during the initial phase of The Vision to Lead campaign.
