Throughout my nursing career, I have had a strong focus and
passion for Women’s Health, Neonatal Health, Community Health, and Information
Technology. I began my career working in
obstetrics at St. Joseph Hospital in Milwaukee in 2005. I continued my career there after graduating
with my BSN in 2007. In the spring of
2011, I began my teaching career as an adjunct clinical instructor for WLC
teaching adult health. Since then I have
taught a variety of clinical rotations for WLC including obstetrics, community
health, adult health, aging and long-term care, and foundations of
nursing. I accepted a full-time call to
WLC in 2012 and completed my MSN in 2013.
In 2014 I completed a 9-credit certificate in online instruction through
WLC. In 2015 I completed the Parish
Nursing course offered at WLC.
I serve as the clinical coordinator and lab coordinator for
the WLC nursing program.
My husband John and I live in Slinger and have four
children: Benjamin, Sara Ann, Abigail, and Marah. We enjoy watching and/or coaching our
children’s activities including soccer, basketball, swimming, and
gymnastics. We are members of Peace
Lutheran Church in Hartford.
