Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Wisconsin Lutheran CollegeMaster of Science in Nursing - Nurse Educator, Concordia University Wisconsin
While in my final year of nursing school, I began as a nurse intern on a cardiac, pulomonary, and medical floor, and soon realized that my focus and desire lay in Women’s and Neonatal Health and nursing education. I began my nursing career in inpatient obstetrics at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Milwaukee after graduation in 2014. While there, I collaborated on the practice council of my unit for nursing and was a member of the interdisciplinary obstetrics practice council. Shortly thereafter I began my MSN program and focused my studies in the Nurse Educator route. In the fall of 2016 I began my formal teaching career as an adjunct for WLC’s obstetrics clinical. In the spring of 2017 I accepted the full-time call from WLC to join the nursing faculty. Since then I have taught in a variety of lab, lecture, and clinical settings across all levels of the nursing program.
My husband, Russ, my son, and I live in Hubertus and our favorite hobby is traveling together. We are members of Crown of Life Lutheran in Hubertus, Wisconsin.
