MILWAUKEE, WI - As Wisconsin Lutheran College's spring semester came to a close on May 15, about 175 traditional undergraduate students, adult accelerated degree program students, and graduate students joined the ranks of Warriors alumni.

SEE THE LIST OF SPRING 2020 GRADUATES

  • The spring commencement service, originally planned for May 16, was moved to August 29. May graduates were given the option of having their caps and gowns mailed to them so they could hold celebrations with their families. Cords for academic honors and military service will be distributed on commencement day. Details about the August service will be published as they are finalized.

  • Students who completed their degree requirements in the spring semester graduated from WLC in May as planned. Diplomas were mailed the week of June 8. 

  • Emily Frey '20, who is graduating with degrees in secondary education and biology, was selected by her classmates to be the student speaker at August commencement. She grew up in South Milwaukee and attended Wisconsin Lutheran High School. At WLC, Emily worked in the Office of Student Life and was secretary of the Future Teacher Education Association. She was a 2019 recipient of the Sharon A. Schoeneck Christian Women's Leadership Scholarship.

  • Digicopy, a WLC Believe in the Green partner, is selling WLC grad yard signs. Customize a sign with your grad's name and major or degree.

  • The Warriors Fan Shop offers diploma frames; see details in the flyer (pdf).
