Each year, Wisconsin Lutheran College hosts its Undergraduate Research Symposium. At the event, undergraduate students present papers, research projects, or artistic projects completed under the direction of a faculty member, professional researcher, or graduate student as an extension of their WLC academic experience.
All students receive an invitation via email to apply to present at the symposium, regardless of topic or discipline. All presentation applications are reviewed by a faculty committee for content and quality. The event is coordinated by the Academic Co-Curricular Committee in consultation with the Office of the Provost.
The 19th annual event will be held the morning of Saturday, April 27, 2019, in Generac Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
A schedule of presentations will be posted in early April.
Dr. Robert Anderson, professor of biology, will give the symposium's keynote speech. He will share research highlights in WLC Biology over the past 25 years. Dr. Anderson will retire this June.
