Sending Christian Leaders into the World
MILWAUKEE, WI - On Saturday, May 20, Wisconsin Lutheran College held spring commencement exercises in the Recreation Complex - Time of Grace Center. At the service, WLC awarded diplomas to traditional undergraduate students, adult accelerated degree program students, and graduate students.
Rev. David N. Rutschow, who recently retired from his position as district president of the WELS Southeastern Wisconsin District, gave the ceremony's keynote address. Pastor Rutschow also received the Pro Gloria Dei Award, which WLC awards to an individual for a life of distinguished service to God and His people.
Chase Maxwell '17, who graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and English, gave the student address.
Alumnus Derek Deprey '02 welcomed graduates to the ranks of WLC alumni.
Wisconsin Lutheran College prepares its graduates to be Christian servant leaders in the workplace and in the community.
