Winterfest 2013
You won't want to miss Wisconsin Lutheran College's annual Winterfest celebration on Saturday, February 9.
At 9:00 a.m., alumni can participate in the alumni basketball games in the Recreation Complex – all abilities are welcome, and fans are too. The Warriors women's basketball team takes the court against conference rivals Concordia Wisconsin at 1 p.m.
The first 500 fans at the women's game will receive a free Once A Warrior, Always A Warrior T-shirt. The 2013 Alumni Service Award will be presented at halftime of the women's game. (If you are unable to attend Winterfest, but would like to nominate an alum for the Alumni Service Award, please email alumni@wlc.edu with the nominee’s name and reason for nomination.)
Between games, alumni, parents, and Warrior Club members are invited to the Campus Center for a free buffet lunch.
The Warriors men's basketball team plays Concordia Wisconsin at 3:15 p.m. A high-flying dunk show by the Milwaukee Bucks Rim Rockers, including WLC alum Josh Schedler '06, will entertain the crowd during halftime.
Throughout the afternoon, kids can participate in autograph sessions with Warriors student-athletes, get Warriors tattoos, and more.
