Information for Parents
Wisconsin Lutheran College Study Abroad Programs offer a variety of experiences for students, from faculty-lead short-term programs, to direct enrollment in a foreign university, to professional internships, and fieldwork and teaching.
The program your son or daughter selects determines the way in which he or she will encounter and experience a culture. In an internship program, students combine academic course work with a placement in a business, agency or organization, directly involving themselves in the local work life. In other programs, students may enroll in a foreign university and become part of the local student community.
WLC's programs give students the opportunity for academic and personal growth, to challenge themselves and experience the world from a new perspective, all while becoming leaders of our global society.
