MILWAUKEE – Wisconsin Lutheran College senior Dustin Winsor of Modesto, California, has been selected as the Student Employee of the Year for the State of Wisconsin by the Midwest Association of Student Employment Administrators. Winsor also was named 2009 Student Employee of the Year at Wisconsin Lutheran College.

For four years, Winsor has worked in Wisconsin Lutheran College's Information Technology Department. As the department's team leader, he is a high-level technical troubleshooter responsible for maintaining the hardware, software and classroom technologies for the college. He is responsible for helping to train all new workers in policy and procedure as well.

"Dustin handles our customers' requests with utmost courtesy and serves as a role model to the student workers who are learning from him," said Winsor's supervisor, John Meyer, Information Technology Operations Manager.

In addition to working in the Information Technology Department, Winsor is a music theory and composition major who has coordinated and led the college pep band for three years. He wrote incidental music scores for three campus theatre productions: An Experiment with an Air Pump, 1984, and Hecuba.
