WLC Football will take on Kalamazoo College at 12 p.m. on Saturday, October 20 at Raabe Stadium.

Alumni

homecoming flag football It’s football time, and Homecoming 2007 at Warrior Fields should be your destination on Saturday, October 20! The day will feature giveaways to the first 500 fans, a spectacular halftime performance by the drum core and drill team, Classic Reunion, contests with superb prizes, t-shirt tosses by the cheerleaders and much more.

Kick-off the day with the traditional alumni flag football games played on the turf at Raabe Stadium from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Every alum is welcome to play!

From 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., football and cheerleading alumni are invited to a free reunion tailgate on the west end of the football field. At the tailgate, a lucky football alum and cheerleading alum will be selected to participate in the official coin flip.

Wisconsin Lutheran College takes the field against Kalamazoo College at noon. Throughout the game, reunion classes will be remembered. If you are a member of the class of 2002, 1997, 1992, 1987, 1982 or 1977, encourage your classmates to come out and reminisce while looking over the photo tribute on display for your class.

Following the game, kids are invited onto the field for an autograph session with the athletes. Warrior football players and cheerleaders will be signing mini-footballs that will be given out at the game.

After cheering on the Warriors, alumni are invited to the Milwaukee County Zoo for a special after-hours event. At 5 p.m., attend a private, catered alumni reception in the Aquatic and Reptile Center, where you can watch leopard sharks, a Pacific giant octopus, green anacondas, Chinese alligators and more. The Alumni Office is covering most of the expense; there is just a $10 per person fee for this fantastic event. Free parking is available on nearby roads or you can park in the zoo lot for $9. Be sure to mention you are with the WLC private party to get free zoo admission. Registeration is closed for the zoo event.

Homecoming only comes once a year – you won’t want to miss it! For more information, contact Lisa Leffel, director of alumni relations, at (414) 443-8796.
