Wisconsin Lutheran College mourns the loss of Yolanda King
May 16, 2007
MILWAUKEE – The faculty, staff and students of Wisconsin Lutheran College were saddened to hear of Yolanda King’s sudden passing. The college family was privileged to welcome Ms. King to campus February 27, 2007, for a presentation entitled “Open My Eyes, Open My Soul: Discovering the Power of Diversity.”
“Ms. King was full of energy and vitality,” says Edie Boatman, vice president of public affairs at Wisconsin Lutheran. “She gave a spirited and inspiring presentation, was easy to talk to and took time out to speak personally with everyone who wished to meet her.”
Our thoughts and prayers are with the King family during this difficult time.
