Wisconsin Lutheran College Theatre Department Presents Hecuba

MILWAUKEE – The Wisconsin Lutheran College Theatre Department presents Euripides' Hecuba, February 6-8 and 12-14, 2009. All performances take place in the Raabe Theatre. The Sunday show is at 3 p.m. while all others are at 8 p.m.

In the aftermath of the Trojan War, Hecuba, wife of defeated King Priam, awaits deportation to slavery in Greece. Euripides' tragic tale from the fifth Century B.C. explores themes of agony and the interplay of compulsion, free will and consequences. Hecuba is directed by associate professor of theatre Jay Siersyn.
