America's favorite folk singers to perform at Wisconsin Lutheran College

MILWAUKEE – The New Christy Minstrels will perform at Wisconsin Lutheran College on Friday and Saturday, November 21 and 22, 2008, at 8 p.m. in the Schwan Concert Hall.

More than 40 years ago, this group made its national television debut on The Andy Williams Show. Still going strong with original members Randy Sparks, Barry McGuire, Clarence Treat, Jackie Miller Davidson, Dolan Ellis and Art Podell, the New Christy Minstrels entertain audiences both young and old. Some of the band's timeless hits include This Land is Your Land, Saturday Night, Green Green and Just Americans.

New Christy Minstrels is sponsored in part by the Wisconsin Arts Board and Waterstone Bank. The Schwan Concert Hall is located in the college's Center for Arts and Performance at 8815 W.
