Student Art Exhibit focuses on the Mind's Eye

MILWAUKEE – Students of Wisconsin Lutheran College display their best art works in the juried exhibit, Mind's Eye, November 21, 2008, through January 2, 2009. The opening reception will be held November 21 from 6-8 p.m. in the Schlueter Art Gallery.

Mind's Eye focuses on scenes taken from one’s mental imagery and displayed from an individual perspective. The exhibition is open to students of all disciplines, so works feature a wide range of subjects, styles and mediums. This exhibit is juried by Leon Travanti, mixed media artist and University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee professor emeritus of visual art.

The Schlueter Art Gallery is located in the college's Center for Arts and Performance at 8815 W. Wisconsin Ave. Admission to the gallery is free and open to the public. Hours are 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1-9 p.m. Sunday. For more information regarding this show, call (414) 443-8873.
