Hungarian Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra to perform at Wisconsin Lutheran College

MILWAUKEE – Hungarian Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra will perform at Wisconsin Lutheran College on Wednesday, November 12, 2008, at 8 p.m. in the Schwan Concert Hall.

Formed in 1988, the Hungarian Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra was founded by Miklos Szenthelyi, violinist and Artistic Director at the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. This all strings orchestra has built a vast repertoire with a special emphasis on the romantic compositions. There have been numerous tours to the U.S., Canada, Japan and almost every country in Europe.

Hungarian Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra is sponsored in part by the Wisconsin Arts Board and Waterstone Bank. The Schwan Concert Hall is located in the college’s Center for Arts and Performance at 8815 W. Wisconsin Ave. Tickets are $35 general, $32 seniors and $10 students.
