The Doo-Wop Daddies wrap-up the Summer Arts in the Park free concert series with their fresh take on 50s and 60s style music

MILWAUKEE –The Doo-Wop Daddies will perform on Thursday, August 7 at 6:30 p.m. as the last group of the 2008 Summer Arts in the Park free concert series at Wisconsin Lutheran College.

Based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the Doo-Wop Daddies capture the demanding vocal style of doo-wop music with unsurpassed excellence. The Daddies don’t merely recreate this classic genre, but have redefined it and given it a new and refreshing feel. With a theatrical and entertaining show the Doo-Wop Daddies is one act you won’t want to miss.

Summer Arts in the Park takes place at 8800 West Bluemound Road on the campus courtyard located between Bluemound Road and Wisconsin Avenue at 89th Street. The concert will be held indoors if raining. Food and beverages will be available for purchase starting at 5 p.m. Wisconsin Lutheran College is an alcohol-free campus.
