Free outdoor concert series offers day-long Fine Arts Fair with musical entertainment

MILWAUKEE – Wisconsin Lutheran College is hosting its fourth annual Fine Arts Fair on Saturday, July 12 in the Campus Courtyard, located between Bluemound Road and Wisconsin Avenue at 89th Street. The event is a part of the Summer Arts in the Park free concert series.

The Fine Arts Fair, which runs from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., will be a day full of art and entertainment. Visitors will enjoy fine art and craft booths, a silent auction and great food. A variety of continuous musical entertainment is provided on two stages throughout the day.

The Milwaukee Accordion Club Ensemble will start the day at 9 a.m. by performing music that is both educational and fun. Newtonburg Brass Band takes the stage at 10 a.m. as they re-create an early 1900s small-town brass band. The New South Rampart Street Paraders swing into high gear at noon with crowd pleasing Dixieland music. The Kids from Wisconsin will close out the day at 2 p.m. with a two-hour performance of your favorite Broadway and pop tunes by the finest young singers and musicians in Wisconsin.

Summer Arts in the Park is a free outdoor concert series that take place on the Wisconsin Lutheran campus. There is no charge for admission and tickets are not required. Audience members should bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. Concessions will be available throughout the day. The fair and concerts will be held indoors if raining.
