MILWAUKEE – American pianist Jeffrey Siegel concludes the Keyboard Conversation Series Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at Wisconsin Lutheran College. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Schwan Concert Hall.

Siegel’s enthusiasm is contagious, his credentials are world-class and his virtuosity is astounding. His performances begin with an insightful and entertaining prologue on the music and its composer, are followed by a full performance of the works and end with a lively question and answer session.

This performance is the last stop on the way of Siegel’s musical travelogue. The program Austria-Hungary: Captivating Continentals features elegant Strauss waltzes, spicy Liszt rhapsodies, as well as works of Dvorák and Bartók.

Jeffrey Siegel is sponsored in part by the Wisconsin Arts Board and Wauwatosa Savings Bank. The Schwan Concert Hall is located in the college’s Center for Arts and Performance at 8815 W. Wisconsin Ave. Tickets are $31 general, $28 seniors and $10 students. To purchase tickets, call the WLC box office at (414) 443-8802 or visit wlc.edu/arts.

Since 1996, the Wisconsin Lutheran College Center for Arts and Performance has been providing a comprehensive program of performing and visual arts and educational and community events for students and the people of southeastern Wisconsin.
