A Lovely Sunday for Creve Coeur scene photoMilwaukee – The Wisconsin Lutheran College Theatre Department presents Tennessee Williams' A Lovely Sunday for Creve Coeur, January 25 – 27. Friday’s performance is at 7 p.m. while the rest are at 8 p.m. in the Raabe Theatre of the Center for Arts and Performance, 8815 West Wisconsin Ave.

Known for his renowned dramas such as A Streetcar Named Desire and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Williams displays his flair for comedic writing. Set in the 1930s, he weaves together the desires of four “marginally youthful” women. Williams explores the meaning of loneliness, the need for human connection and the inevitable compromises life often requires for the sake of survival.

This production was chosen as a regional III participant in the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, January 9 – 13 in Milwaukee. For more information or to order tickets, call the Box Office at (414) 443-8802 or visit wlc.edu/arts.

Wisconsin Lutheran College is a four-year, Christian liberal arts college located on the west side of Milwaukee.
