Madeline and the Bad Hat Comes to the Stage at Wisconsin Lutheran College
Date Posted: December 18, 2007
MILWAUKEE – ArtsPower National Touring Theatre presents Madeline and the Bad Hat at Wisconsin Lutheran College on Thursday, January 24 at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. in the Schwan Concert Hall.
ArtsPower’s Madeline and the Bad Hat, an original musical based upon the much-loved book, captures the blithe yet touching spirit of Ludwig Bemelman’s Madeline series. It traces the adventures of a young Parisian girl who – despite starting off on the wrong foot with a mischievous new neighbor – eventually learns that first impressions aren’t everything. This gently amusing tale of enemies-become-friends will charm and entertain children and parents alike.
The Schwan Concert Hall is located in the college’s Center for Arts and Performance at 8815 W. Wisconsin Ave. Tickets are $7 general and $6 students. To purchase tickets, call the WLC box office at (414) 443-8802 or visit wlc.edu/arts.
Wisconsin Lutheran College is a Christian, liberal arts college located on the west side of Milwaukee.
