Christmas Choral Concert at Wisconsin Lutheran College

MILWAUKEE – The Wisconsin Lutheran Choir, Chamber Choir and Chapel Choir present their annual Christmas Choral Concert November 30 and December 1 at 8 p.m. and December 2 at 3 p.m. in the Schwan Concert Hall.
The theme of the 2007 Christmas Choral Concert is Hail Gladdening Light, taken from the hymn of the same title by Charles Wood. The concert features such beloved carols as Go Tell It on the Mountain, O Holy Night and Carol of the Bells. Performance of classical selections and pieces in their original languages, such as Mozart’s Venite Populi (Oh Come, Ye People) and a Russian song of praise by Rachmaninoff, mark the celebration of Christmas around the world.
All performances take place in the Schwan Concert Hall of the Center for Arts and Performance, 8815 West Wisconsin Avenue. Tickets can be purchased from the box office (414) 443-8802 or by visiting wlc.edu/arts.
