TheatreworksUSA in New York brings the classic book, Anne of Green Gables, by Lucy Maud Montgomery, to the stage as a new musical for the entire family. A farmer and his sister are waiting to adopt an orphan boy to take into their home and help out on the farm. However, no boy shows up – just a red-headed girl who turns the entire community upside-down.

Anne of Green Gables is sponsored in part by the Wisconsin Arts Board and Wauwatosa Savings Bank. The Schwan Concert Hall is located in the college’s Center for Arts and Performance at 8815 W. Wisconsin Ave. Tickets are $10 general, $8 seniors and $6 students. To purchase tickets, call the WLC box office at (414) 443-8802 or visit wlc.edu/arts.

Since 1996, the Wisconsin Lutheran College Center for Arts and Performance has been providing a comprehensive program of performing and visual arts and educational and community events for students and the people of southeastern Wisconsin.
