Wisconsin Lutheran College 2007 Senior Thesis Art Exhibition

MILWAUKEE – Beginning Friday, April 13, the graduating art majors at Wisconsin Lutheran College present a final thesis exhibition. The 10 seniors will display a variety of artwork, including photography, painting, sculpture and mixed media. Work will be on display in several campus buildings including the Campus Center, Marvin M. Schwan Library and the Center for Arts and Performance. An opening reception April 13 from 6-8 p.m. will kick off this exhibition which runs through May 12.
The exhibition includes: Jennifer Petersen “Frozen Medley” – photography, collage and handmade books; Lindsay Patt “Nature-Memory-Ink” – woodcut, watercolor and monoprint; Marissa A. Abernathy Draeger “The Nature of Expression: Language Perception, and Postmodernism” – photography from travel within the United States, Caribbean and Europe; Sara Heiderich and Julie Baron “People Can Hear You: Mixed Insight” – paintings, collage and sculpture; Kimberly Ilene List “Obst” – oil paintings and ceramics; Kristie Zimmermann “Voll Croí” – illustration, design and mixed media; Rebecca Nierengarten “The Color and Shape of Things” – painting, ceramic and installations; Bobbi-Jo Wetzel “…And Everything Nice” – acrylic paintings with a graphic touch; Melissa Bernhardt “Alternative Perceptions” – urban photography.
