Lippia to perform Sinatra favorites at Wisconsin Lutheran College

MILWAUKEE - Steve Lippia performs "Simply Sinatra" in the Schwan Concert Hall at Wisconsin Lutheran College Wednesday, February 14, at 7:30 p.m. Backed by a 16-piece band, Lippia offers classic Sinatra favorites including "I've Got You Under My Skin," "Come Fly With Me," "The Way You Look Tonight," "You Make Me Feel So Young," "My Way," and "New York, New York."

Lippia has quickly established himself as one of the finest interpreters of the great American classic standards and adult contemporary pop music in the nation. He has performed in major concert halls with pops symphonies across the country. He has also headlined at the legendary Birdland Jazz Club in New York City, backed by the Nelson Riddle and Woody Herman Orchestras. Lippia has recorded an acclaimed, self-titled CD with a 41-piece symphony, as well as "Steve Lippia Live," recorded at live performances.

The "Simply Sinatra" performance by Steve Lippia is sponsored in part by the Wisconsin Arts Board. The Schwan Concert Hall is located in the college's Center for Arts and Performance at 8815 W. Wisconsin Ave. Tickets are $31 general, $28 seniors and $10 students. A pre-show dinner option is available for purchase.
