Jeffrey Siegel presents an evening of Schubert at Wisconsin Lutheran College

MILWAUKEE - Wisconsin Lutheran College presents the second installment of Keyboard Conversations® with Jeffrey Siegel Wednesday, December 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the Schwan Concert Hall. Siegel, who offers performances with commentary, presents "Schubert: On Wings of Song" featuring a feast of melodies by one of music's most lyrical composers, including "Six Waltzes," "The Trout" arranged by Franz List, and  "Sonata in A major, D 664 (Op. 120)."

Siegel, an American pianist, has been soloist with the world's great orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the London Symphony and Philharmonic, the NHK Symphony of Japan and the Orchestra of La Scala in Milan. In the United States, Siegel's engagements include the New York Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony, Boston Symphony and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. In addition to his solo career, Siegel has appeared as a conductor with the Saint Louis Symphony, Milwaukee Symphony, Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, as well as orchestras in France, Scandinavia and South America.

This concert is sponsored in part by the Wisconsin Arts Board. The Schwan Concert Hall is located in Wisconsin Lutheran's Center for Arts and Performance at 8815 W. Wisconsin Ave.
