Lori Ellen Rhoden performs piano recital at Wisconsin Lutheran

MILWAUKEE - Guest artist Lori Ellen Rhoden performs "A Recital of Nineteenth Century Piano Music" in the Schwan Concert Hall at Wisconsin Lutheran College, Wednesday, September 20 at 7:30 p.m. The performance is free and open to the public.  

The program includes Clara Schumann's "Quatre Pièces Fugitives op. 15," Beethoven's "Sonata in A-Flat Major, op. 110," Brahms' "Rhapsody in B Minor, Op. 79, no. 1," and selections from Enrique Granados' "Twelve Spanish Dances."

Currently a music faculty member at Ball State University in Indiana, Rhoden has presented concerts in Hong Kong, Korea, and throughout the United States.  A respected educator, she has given conference presentations for the World Piano Pedagogy Conference, the Music Teachers National Association, the National Conference on Keyboard Pedagogy, and the College Music Society.
