Lonsway and Malow turn up the Country at Wisconsin Lutheran College

MILWAUKEE - Lonsway and Malow, two of the Midwest's hottest new Country stars, will perform for Wisconsin Lutheran College's Summer Arts in the Park free, outdoor concert series Thursday, July 27 at 6:30 p.m. Lonsway and Malow offer a wide selection of audience favorites including music by Alabama, Brooks N' Dunn, Gretchen Wilson, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Patsy Cline, Rascal Flatts and Tim McGraw. They also perform several original songs.

Lonsway and Malow have opened for notable Country stars including Lee Greenwood, Dierks Bentley, Reba McEntire and Brad Paisley. Mark Lonsway released his first solo album, titled "Not Your Typical Cowboy," in 2003. The album features some of Nashville's best musicians and writers, as well as six songs written or co-written by Lonsway. Dayna Malow, dubbed "Chicago's petite Country music sweetheart with a monster-sized voice," released her second album, "Tangled Up in You," in the fall of 2004. Her songs can be heard on radio stations throughout the region, as well as various internet and overseas stations.

Summer Arts in the Park takes place at 8800 West Bluemound Road on the campus courtyard located between Bluemound Road and Wisconsin Avenue at 89th Street. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Please bring your own lawn chair or blanket. The concert will be held indoors if raining.
