Howard Schneider Orchestra performs Big Band music of the 1940s at the Summer Arts in the Park Series at Wisconsin Lutheran College

MILWAUKEE -The Howard Schneider Orchestra will perform Big Band music of the 1940s for the Summer Arts in the Park free concert series at Wisconsin Lutheran College Thursday, June 8 at 6:30 p.m. The performance may include such memorable, Big Band favorites as "Blue Moon," "Over the Rainbow," "Chattanooga Choo Choo" and "Smoke Get In Your Eyes."
An alumnus of the famed NORAD Commander Band, Howard Schneider is also the leader of the Jan Garber Orchestra. Both groups perform regularly in Wisconsin and at dance events throughout the Midwest.
Summer Arts in the Park takes place at 8800 West Bluemound Road on the campus courtyard located between Bluemound Road and Wisconsin Avenue at 89th street. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Please bring your own lawn chair or blanket. The concert will be held indoors if raining.
