Schroeder Joins Wisconsin Lutheran College's Information Technology Department

MILWAUKEE - Mark Schroeder has been named Wisconsin Lutheran College's technology user liaison. In this position, Schroeder will be the primary contact for facilitating the use of enterprise-wide computing and other technology solutions.

WLC recently invested in a leading enterprise resource planning solution developed for higher education. Schroeder's initial responsibilities will include coordinating activities involved in implementing and obtaining value from this investment.

"Implementing a system of this size requires an understanding of the academic enterprise and excellent project management skills," says Thomas Hausmann, chief information officer. "With his background in business, project management and education, Mark will play an essential role in the successful implementation and on-going support of the new system."

Schroeder recently served as director of marketing for six years at Metrix of Waukesha. In addition, he has held positions of programmer, end-user computing instructor, systems designer, systems analyst and project manager for Johnson Controls and ARI Network services.

Schroeder earned both his M.B.A. in marketing and B.B.A. in management of computer systems and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater.

Wisconsin Lutheran College is an independent liberal arts college located on the west side of Milwaukee.
